Eriksberg Health Center
Our 1,800 employees work with close care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation, and we provide advice over the phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us as we adapt our offerings based on the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.

We are looking for a nurse to join our wonderful team at Eriksberg Health Center. One of our employees will be going on parental leave, so we are now offering a full-time temporary position for one year starting in May 2026, with a possible extension.

Our Operations
Eriksberg Health Center is located at Västertorg in the Eriksberg district of Uppsala. We have about 7,200 registered patients and approximately 30 employees. We offer most services within primary care, and everyone at the health center works to provide our patients with the best possible care. The wide variety of patients, from families with children to elderly patients, creates a stimulating and developing workplace. The health center belongs to the Near Care and Health administration in Region Uppsala. Our health centers are located throughout the county. We work with the patient, in teams at the health center, and collaborate with colleagues at different levels of care.
Eriksberg is a stable and well-functioning health center that focuses on a good working environment. Eriksberg Health Center is a place where teamwork and operational development are in focus. We believe that a reasonable workload and job satisfaction are the keys to long-term sustainability.
Eriksberg Health Center is one of two academic health centers in Region Uppsala. This means that we are part of the academic primary care center that builds the conditions for primary care research and development. An academic health center has the same fundamental mission as other health centers and offers its patients the same care as before.
Your Mission
As a nurse with us, you will have varied tasks and meet patients of all ages. The position includes work with telephone advice, outpatient care, and on-call duties where patients with acute conditions are taken care of. You will have close collaboration with other professionals at the health center. The work involves using various data systems.
Your Competence
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse; experience in primary care is an advantage. As a person, you are positive, have a flexible working style, and a good ability to collaborate with others in the team while also having the experience and drive to work independently. We place great importance on the ability to develop the operations together with other professional categories at the clinic as well as personal qualities.
